Another enjoyable evening with our choir.
Dorian told us that the BBC had been speaking to him about our slot on 14th December 2010 at St Marys Butts. We will hopefully perform two Carols – Candlelight Carol and Noel. We will also hopefully include the congregation in two others, In the Deep Midwinter and Silent Night. When we return on 3rd November, we will start rehearsing the carols.
Dress code to be sorted out but Dorian asked if any ladies had an objection to wearing polo shirts and trousers. All were in favour, so hopefully we will have some information on this at the next rehearsal.
Tonight we started with Razzle Dazzle. It sounds great when we all sing together. Dorian spent some time with each of the groups. He said that later on in the year he would like to get the different groups to come in about half an hour earlier and he will then be able to concentrate solely on them without the rest having to sit through it. I know this can be a bit boring for some of us having to wait. Don’t forget to listen to the midi files for your part of the songs. They are very useful.

There will be no choir on 15th December. By then we will have sung beautifully at St Marys Butts
