Polo Shirts
Dorian has been talking to the BBC and the polo shirts will now be dark blue not red as originally thought. This is due to printing the BBC logo onto the shirt. He will bring sample sizes of the shirts next week. Order forms are available and the cost of the shirt will be £11 each.
Radio Berkshire Carol Concert
Our concert on the 14th December, we will need to be at the venue by 5.30pm at the latest. It does get very crowded and seats fill up quick so if you want to bring family along, make sure they get there early too. The concert starts at 7pm.
BBC would also like us to take part in Comic Relief next March. More details to follow.
Sing-a-long-a-Christmas
There will be a Sing-along on 12th December – Dorian will give out more details next week.
Songs Rehearsed
Tonight we concentrated on Candlelight Carol and a run through of Noel. These are the two main carols we will be singing on the night on our own. Next week we will go through Ding Dong Merrily on High, Silent Night, Away in a Manger and In the Bleak Midwinter. We will sing these along with the public.
Tonight Dorian recorded us singing Walking in a Winter Wonderland. This was such fun.
Next week we will try another song called “How deep the fathers love for us” This is a very moving song.
Christmas Party
Christmas party is on Thursday 16th December. We will join up with Wokingham Choir for this. Venue to be arranged.
