This is my first blog on the site, so bear with me whilst I get up to speed!
Sing Bracknell has been up and running since 8th September 2010. There are lots of lovely women but still only the five (brave) men in the choir. Sounding good though. So far we have sung “California Dreamin”, “Hallelujah” and are currently doing “Both Sides Now”. This does sound lovely so well done to everyone.
Tonight we also covered “Razzle Dazzle”, which was fun to sing. Dorian also got us to sing “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen as this is one of the songs that will be sung at the Age Concern singalong. At the time of writing, this will have been and gone so hope it all went well.
Dorian told us that he has contacted a printer who can put together a binder with all the songs (words/music) that we will be covering for the entire year and will mean we all have the entire range of songs and all in one place. The majority of choir said they would be interested. Dorian will get back to us about this.
Dorian mentions that a midi file of vocal warm up exercises will soon be added to the website.
