In preparation for our October concert, there will be additional rehearsals during the following dates in August:  3rd,   10th,   17th   &   24th
These are all Wednesdays and rehearsals (concentrating mainly on the Oklahoma & West Side Story medleys*) will take place from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at Birch Hill Community Centre, Leppington, Bracknell  RG12 7WW.
*Medley booklets are available at £3.50 each – pls see Lesley or Alison to order – payment is required in advance please.
We know many people will be on holiday for some of this period but it would be appreciated if you can come along to some (if not all) of these extra sessions.

If you are a fan of Rodgers & Hammerstein, or love the music of Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim, then join us over the summer when we will be having a series of open sessions covering Songs from the Shows.  We are holding these sessions on Wednesday evenings on the following dates in August:

‘SONGS FROM THE SHOWS’ SUMMER SCHOOL
DURING AUGUST (3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th)
Wednesdays, from 7.30pm
at Birch Hill Community Centre, Leppington, Bracknell RG12 7WW

Each session will feature Medleys from the Musicals and will run from 7.30pm to 9.30pm with a break for refreshments and a chance to chat.  It is an ideal opportunity to find your voice and join in singing some well-loved show tunes in the company of other like-minded songsters.  Experience the sociability of group singing in a welcoming and friendly environment, and learn more about singhealthychoirs by meeting and talking with some of our regular members.  As with all our choirs, we have the same joining criteria:  over age 18 and willing to give it a go – no auditions, no need to read music, and definitely no pressure.  Come for just a single session or join us for all four and discover how singing can boost your mood and help improve general health and well-being.  Just get in touch via our Contact Form or call us on 07825 616 759 to let us know you plan to attend – your first session is FREE! – we look forward to seeing you soon.
