We hope you have had a good Easter break.

 

As many of you will have seen via WhatsApp, we’re sorry to share the news that we have to postpone our move to outdoor rehearsals, which were due to start on Monday. We follow guidance from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS): for several weeks, this has indicated that we can run outdoor sessions from Step 2. Just two days ago, DCMS
issued new guidance that contradicts this. It’s deeply frustrating, but we have no choice but to follow this until Step 3 (due 17th May) or, if policy shifts again, possibly sooner. As such, this coming week’s rehearsals will be on Zoom only (for all sections). Please see the NEW Zoom links below.

 

We plan to move forwards with our in-person rehearsals as soon as possible, and will keep you updated. For the end of this term, we also hope to hold a small in-person performance as guidance allows. Finally, please see a list below of all the repertoire we plan to cover over the next few weeks. I have arranged two new songs: “How can I keep from singing?” – a wonderful suggestion from Brenda – and, as promised, the “Wellerman” Sea Shanty for Bracknell!
