Christmas Concert Final Details

  • Timings: We will rehearse with our organist, Euchar, 4.15pm – c.6pm (arrive 4pm for 4.15pm start). Please arrive through the side entrance to the right of the church. This leads to the ‘Lecture Room’ where we can securely store coats and bags. Please be seated at 7.20 for the concert start at 7.30pm, and again at 15 minutes into the interval break.
  • Music: please bring your scores in black folders (as provided) in the following running order:

    • Zion Hears the Watchmen Calling (Wokingham only)
    • A Great and Mighty Wonder
    • The Boar’s Head Carol

  • Dress: formal – all black (inc. opaque tights if needed) plus red scarves/ties. Small handbags and water bottles are fine on stage. Please bring a face-covering for arrival/departure as usual.
  • Refreshments: We will have tea, coffee, and non-alcoholic drinks in the interval, plus our cake sale and raffle. (Thank you to all who are donating to these!)
  • Parking: There is space in front of the church for drop-off and wheelchair users only. There is limited on-street parking along Milton Road, otherwise the town centre car parks are free charge after 6pm, including Wokingham Council Civic Offices, Shute End and Waitrose nearby.
  • Tickets: https://singhealthy.co.uk/tickets/ there are only a handful of tickets left for the balcony, so do purchase quickly for friends & family if you still need to! 
    We will not sell on-the-door tickets.
  • Covid measures: For everyone’s safety and reassurance, we expect all performers and adult audience members to take a free lateral flow test (available here) within 24hrs prior to the concert. Please do not attend if you have tested positive for, or are showing symptoms of Covid-19, or if you have been asked to self-isolate.
    • CLASP: Please be aware that we will be joined on site by CLASP members who have a wide range of learning disabilities and sensory needs.
