Wokingham Choir – new piece for Monday March 14th: Ottsche Nash
As mentioned at Monday’s rehearsal, we would like to include ‘Ottsche Nash’, a short piece by Ukrainian composer Leontovych, in our Faure Requiem concert. As we have limited rehearsal time, this will replace ‘Calmes Des Nuits’, which we will save for another occasion.
Kieran has created a new ’transliterated’ score for ease of reading, so the characters can be read in a literal way, similar to our sung Latin pronunciation.
The score, an audio pronunciation file and the multipart training files can all be found on this page: Ottsche Nash
Please have a listen ahead of Monday’s rehearsal here: Ottsche Nash
Wokingham Choir – extra rehearsal on Sunday March 20th – 2.30-4.30pm, Birch Hill Community Centre, Bracknell RG12 7WW
A quick reminder that we will hold this extra rehearsal for Wokingham Choir, in lieu of the early May bank holiday date, where we’ll be running all of our learnt repertoire since January. Please do make it if you can!
