A few important announcements for the coming weeks

Firstly, thank you to all who suggested local charities for our upcoming concerts. We are delighted to confirm that we will support COATS Crowthorne (https://www.coatscrowthorne.org.uk/) for our upcoming Jubilee Concert with Bracknell Choir and Ascot Brass on July 9th, 7.30pm, at Wokingham Baptist Church.
Please save the date – tickets will be available soon!
Another couple of dates for the diary are:
- Friday June 17th afternoon: a singalong with CLASP Choir at the Acorn Centre, Woosehill. Meet 1.30 to sing 1.40–2.15pm, song sheets provided, please wear red tops.
- Saturday July 23rd afternoon: an SH social/sing-out for both choirs at the end of term, outdoors at St Crispins, similar to our summer event last year. More info to follow!
Lastly, two important notices for Wokingham Choir:
*Wokingham Rehearsal venue trial*:
Thank you to everyone who completed our rehearsal venue survey. We had 58 responses, with 69% favouring a move to Wokingham Baptist Church (and 5% favouring the Bradbury).
Following this, we have set up a single trial rehearsal on Monday May 23rd at our normal rehearsal time, so our rehearsal on this date will be at Wokingham Baptist Church (RG40 1DE) rather than the Bradbury Centre. We’d recommend parking in Waitrose Car Park, a short walk away, as there is no parking on-site.

We have two new pieces to add to our repertoire (along with other booklets which are on order) – please print and bring these along to upcoming rehearsals:
