Please see below the lists of music to bring along to rehearsals for the second half of term.

For Bracknell Choir, we have a few new additional pieces for our end of term event on July 16th. For Wokingham Choir, this list remains the same for our July 8th concert, and some of this we will repeat on July 16th. There is one new piece we will prepare for July 16th only (Down by the Sally Gardens).

For Wokingham Choir, we have an additional rehearsal on Sunday 11th June, 2–4pm. Please note the venue for this has changed: we will now be in Birch Hill Community Centre in Bracknell (RG12 7WW).

For Bracknell Choir, as well as the upcoming July 16th event, we have been invited to sing at Hambleden Church near Henley (RG9 6RS) on the afternoon of Sunday 24th September. Hambleden Church Teas run every Sunday through the summer raising funds for the church, some Sundays including live music, and September 24th will be their final Tea of the year. We will perform short sets of pieces (mainly from the current list) either outdoors or inside the church (weather dependent) with keyboard accompaniment. We have been offered tea and cake in return!
(If you’re interested in joining for this from Wokingham Choir – please speak with Ann Stainton)

Finally, we’re delighted to say that Bracknell Choir’s recent ’Showtime’ concert raised an incredible £1150 for Bracknell Foodbank. A huge thank you to all involved!

Many thanks for your attention,
Louise
