As mentioned at rehearsals, the date for our joint Christmas Concert will be Saturday December 21st, 7.30pm, with an afternoon rehearsal.

 

CLASP Choir will once again join us, as well as Joshua Ryan on organ/piano, and we will also have the brilliant cellist Yurie Lee accompanying Wokingham’s RVW piece. We will be supporting local charity Thrive (https://www.thrive.org.uk/) as nominated by members. We will be trying a new venue – the recently renovated All Saints Church, Wokingham, which has become a popular concert space. Wokingham members may remember our trial rehearsal there last year – rest assured, the heating is now working and we’ve had positive feedback from other choral groups about the acoustic for concerts!

 

We also have the following Christmas sing-out dates confirmed. Sign up sheets will be at rehearsals after half-term:

• Friday 6th December – Crowthorne High Street, two sets – 6pm & 6.45pm – unison carols led by Nicky
• Sunday 8th December – The Lexicon, Bracknell, two sets – 1.15pm & 2.15pm – Christmas repertoire led by Louise
• Sunday 15th December – Waitrose, Bracknell – 1-3pm – Christmas Carols
• Thursday 19th December – The Rose, Wokingham, one set 7pm – unison carols in the pub
