We are very excited to share more details for the concert on 10th November!
  • The ticket site is now live at this link:
    https://www.singhealthy.co.uk/tickets/
  • We will also have paper tickets available at rehearsals, along with posters and flyers. Although tickets will be available on the door, advanced purchases are really helpful as we can better estimate programme printing numbers etc!
  • For those of you on Facebook, the event link can be found here. Please share and invite your friends!

  • We will be raising money for charity Combat Stress – more info here: https://www.combatstress.org.uk/
  • We are looking to include two or three short readings of poems in the concert, relating to Remembrance Day. If reciting a poem in the concert would interest you, please let Louise or Kieran know.

  • We are looking for front of house volunteers to help out at the concert – if you would be interested (or can recruit any friends/family members!) please let Alison know.
  • Finally, please let Alison know if you would be willing to provide a cake for interval refreshments – any contributions are really appreciated!

For those singing (Wokingham choir), please find rehearsal details below:

Sunday 4th November, 2 – 4pm: extra rehearsal for those who can make it at Birch Hill School, Bracknell, RG12 7WW

Monday 5th November, 7.45 – 9.15pm: joint rehearsal with Maestros at Prospect School, Reading RG30 4EX (exact room TBC)

Please aim to arrive at 7.30 so we can get set up for 7.45.

And on the concert day, Saturday 10th November:

– Please arrive at 3pm for set-up and a short rehearsal (approx. 3.15 – 4pm)
– We will have a short joint rehearsal with Maestros at approx. 4.15pm, breaking at 4.45pm.
– The concert will commence at 6pm.
– Please arrive in formal concert dress (all black with red scarves/ties), and with minimum possessions, as we will have limited changing/storage facilities.
– We will not use folders for the three Tippett Spirituals or the Skempton, but will provide slim black folders to hold the Beethoven and Mozart sheet music.

Thanks for your attention,

Louise
