Update for Bracknell and Wokingham Choirs
Online version of email sent to members on 29th September 2018
If you did not receive the email, please email newsletter@singhealthy.co.uk
or use our contact form to let us know and we’ll check our records.
Please see below a couple of updates for each choir.
Bracknell choir
We will be starting Christmas music in the upcoming rehearsal! (3rd Oct)
Please bring with you, if you have them, copies of Carol of the Bells and A Merry Christmas. Alongside these we will be learning two other new carols. Please also bring your copies of September, Up on the Roof and California Dreaming for the 3rd Oct, though after that, these will not be needed until January!
Wokingham choir
We are now pleased to be able to announce more details about the concert on 10th November with Berkshire Maestros.
The concert will be held at St Paul’s Church, Wokingham, starting at 6pm, with a rehearsal beforehand. We will be raising money for charity Combat Stress. Tickets should be available online within the coming week.
We welcome those not singing to attend at St Paul’s to help in a Front of House capacity – please let Alison know if you can be part of the FoH team. We will also be looking to provide cakes and refreshments in the interval – again, please let Alison know if you would be able to provide something towards this, which would be hugely appreciated.
Both choirs
As announced at last rehearsal, Paul Dunn’s son, Richard will be filming parts of our rehearsals and breaks next week, to help promote the choir to potential new members. Over the summer we had over 25 enquiries about joining the choirs, which is excellent, however only a third or so of these people came along to try us out. We would love to grow this number, and think that a members’ view of the choir will help people to see how friendly and welcoming we are! The film will be used online, and will also be released via out social media channels.
If anyone wishes to be excluded from the images we capture, please let us know one arrival, and we will make accommodations for this.
Thanks for your attention and look forward to seeing you at rehearsal,
Louise and Kieran
