Water of Tyne is a folksong arrangement that Ascot Brass performed in our previous joint concert back in 2018. I have created a choral part to fit the arrangement, to perform together. We will also perform the two Verdi Choruses – the Anvil Chorus, and the March from Aida (the famous ’Triumphal’ March) accompanied by Ascot Brass.
’The Road Home’ is a piece by contemporary American composer Stephen Paulus, based on the folksong ’The Lone Wild Bird’. We will perform this at our end-of-term event alongside Bracknell Choir.
