Bracknell choir: sheet music for September

If you have them, please bring your copies of West Side Story and Where or When. We will also provide copies of one new song: ‘Hey Brother’ by Avicii. We will then start rehearsing music for our Christmas performances (inc. Windsor Castle and our 14th Dec concert) from October 2nd. More info to follow!

Bracknell choir: Windsor Castle performances, Dec 7th

We have been asked to sing two sets: one in the Waterloo Chamber (adjacent to St George’s Hall) and one in St George’s Chapel.

The Castle has set a limit of 40 singers due to our placement in the Chapel (and won’t budge on this!). If you would like to attend, please sign up with Alison at rehearsals, commencing Sept 11th. It will be first come first serve, though we will check the balance of sections along the way.

We will travel to Windsor by coach as previously, and will be asking for a contribution of around £12 from each singer attending to cover the cost of travel. The coach will pick up and drop off from both South Hill Park and St Crispins School, arriving in Windsor for 12 noon, and leaving at 5pm. The final cost and timings for pickup will be confirmed as soon as possible.

Wokingham choir: Faure Rehearsal Schedule

Please see our rehearsal plan below for Sept and Oct. We will do our best to stick to this, though may adjust and inform you if needed. This term we will focus on Libera Me, the Offertory and Sanctus from the Requiem, along with the other short pieces for the concert.

After the half term break (Oct 28th), we will rehearse for our joint Christmas concert on Dec 14th. We will then recommence the Requiem in January, covering the remaining movements – Agnus Dei and In Paradisum – and recapping on everything else.
